ISLAMABAD: With the government relaxing the lockdown, work on all development projects in the federal capital has resumed.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) said that work on the construction of a pedestrian bridge on Constitution Avenue and the underpass between Sector G-7 and Sector G-8 resumed last weekend.

Within a few more days, the CDA said that it intends to resume activities on other development projects such as the construction of the 100-bed block at the Capital Hospital, construction of the Burma Bridge on Lehtarar Road, Sector E-12 Service Road, Ataturk Avenue, and Park Enclave-I.

Moreover, the CDA administration said that it has asked all construction firms to observe Covid-19 related standard operating procedures strictly during construction work.
