135 teams disinfect RCB areas 

The campaign will continue until further notice

RAWALPINDI: Teams of the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) continue to disinfect different areas of the cantonment to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19).

Being conducted on the directives of Cantonment Executive Officer (CEO) Umar Malik, an RCB spokesperson said that different localities in all 10 wards of the cantonment board have been disinfected.

The campaign will continue until further notice, he said.To provide a clean environment to the residents, he said that the RCB had constituted 135 disinfection teams which spray sodium hypochlorite on main roads, streets, mosques and other areas of the cantt.

The campaign is being supervised and monitored by the RCB Public Health Officer Waris Bhatti. He explained that the drives continue daily.

Apart from spraying sodium hypochlorite, the board is also washing different RCB areas with water mixed with chlorine.
