Powerless Workers Union condemns power loom owners
Condemned the Sana Park incident, where a number of power loom workers were severely tortured.

Power Loom Workers Union (PLWU) Ghulam Muhammad Abad chairman, Shahid Randhawa, has strongly condemned the lock-out of power loom factories. Randhawa said that no one should be allowed to play with the workers’ livelihoods. Addressing a protest meeting of the power looms workers on Sunday, he condemned the Sana Park incident, where a number of power loom workers were severely tortured and were later implicated in a criminal case. He demanded that factory owners unlock their factories.
