Govt launches media support programme
Shah said that the government had already begun paying liabilities to media owners under the PMSP

Sindh Chief Minister has launched the Peoples Media Support Programme (PMSP), on the directives of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, announced Sindh Information Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah on Tuesday.
Shah said that the government had already begun paying liabilities to media owners under the PMSP, adding that on condition that they give assurance to relevant authorities that they would not terminate employees and pay their salaries on time.
"The PMSP will provide job security to media workers and journalists as well as surety of timely payment of salaries," said the provincial information minister.
