Fresh Start: Orientation for Szabist’s new students

KARACHI: The orientation of the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST) was held at Regent Plaza Karachi on Saturday to introduce staff and faculty to the new students. While the auditorium on the ground floor of the hotel was booked for the students, families and latecomers were able to watch on a projected screen outside. According to a SZABIST official, 5,000 students applied for admissions this year and 20% made it.
