The Avengers cast members assembled in a surprise appearance for Sunday’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2020: Celebrate Together show.

Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans and Jeremy Renner came together in a special virtual appearance to accept the award for Favourite Movie for Avengers: Endgame, reported EW.

Johansson, who plays the beloved character of Black Widow in the mega-hit franchise, kicked off the reunion, saying, “This is such a thrill! We are so excited and so happy the Kids' Choice Awards are happening.” Renner then chimed in, dedicating the award to “all the kids who rooted for these characters to assemble and become what we all need to be — stronger together.”

In typical fashion, Evans and Hemsworth engaged in playful virtual banter as well.  Hemsworth declared himself the strongest from the Avengers cast, to which Evans resisted and revealed that he once beat the Australian heartthrob in a push-up contest.

A particularly heartfelt moment for the fans was when Downey closed the appearance by repeating his iconic dialogue, “Love you 3000.”

Sunday marked the first time that the award show was held virtually, thanks to the coronavirus pandemic. The hour-long ceremony, originally set for March 22 in Los Angeles, was hosted by Victoria Justice.
