Five more killed in Karachi, death toll reaches 20

Joint Police and Rangers search operation ends in Landi area; no arrests made.

KARACHI: Recent spate of violence in Karachi engulfed 20 more lives since Saturday as five more were killed on Sunday morning, reported Express 24/7.

Two bodies were found in the Orangi Town area, while a body of a young girl was recovered from Aman Park area of Azam Town. Two other bodies were found from the Sirjani road area of the city.

Meanwhile, the joint Police and Rangers search operation ended in Landi.

According to DIG West Naeem Akram Bharoka, no arrests were made during the three hours of door-to-door search operation by the security forces, but a large quantity of used bullets was recovered from a water tank during the operation.

Earlier, 15 people including a police official were gunned down in different incidents of target killings in Karachi on Saturday.
