Health concern: Factory ordered out of residential area
The residents had lodged a complaint about the disturbance they had to face due to the pollution.
LAHORE:
The Environment Protection Department (EPD) on Saturday ordered the shifting of a factory from residential areas in Shahdara. EPD officials said that Muneer Steel Sheetworks was located in a residential zone and the residents had lodged a complaint about the disturbance they had to face due to the pollution and noise generated by the unit.
