Tribal leader calls move a contempt of court because the hearing of the case was pending in the Balochistan High Court

A tribal elder of Hanna Urak Valley on Monday condemned a notification issued by the provincial government to merge Levies Force into Police, calling the move a contempt of court because the hearing of the case was pending in the Balochistan High Court.
“It is a sub judice matter as the hearing is pending in Balochistan High Court.
Taking decision on a pending court matter amounts to contempt of court,” said thetribal leader Haji Ashraf Kakar while addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club.
