RAWALPINDI:
The Rawalpindi police on Monday booked a man for raping a minor girl within the remits of the Waris Khan police station on Monday.
Police officials said that the mother of the eight-year-old victim had lodged a complaint with the police that the suspect, AS*, had allegedly raped her daughter. The police sent the minor for a medical exam which proved the offence. Thereafter, a police squad raided a suspected hideout of the suspect and apprehended him.
