ISLAMABAD:
With nearly 11,000 cases of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) and 230 fatalities in a little over six weeks since the country reported its first case, Pakistan’s efforts to curb the spread of the virus were hailed by a Chinese diplomat.

The praise came during an online conference on “China’s efforts to combat Covid-19 and humanitarian aid to the world”.

The conference had been jointly organized by the Centre for Global and Strategic Studies (CGSS) and the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad
