KARACHI:
The Sindh government has decided to give a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to students belonging to Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B), allowing them to return to their hometowns.
Sindh government spokesperson Murtaza Wahab, in a video statement on Monday, said that thousands of students from G-B had been studying in different institutions in the province.
He stated that those who wanted to return to G-B during the lockdown would be issued NOCs for the purpose. “They will be screened for coronavirus by the Sindh health department,” said Wahab, adding that students testing positive for the virus will not be allowed to travel.
