Political Initiative: Sunni Tehreek caravan at MQM HQ
KARACHI:
A peace caravan led by the Sunni Tehreek (ST) chief Sarwat Ejaz Qadri paid a visit to the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) headquarters, ‘90’, on Friday. They were warmly received by former health minister Saghir Ahmed. They discussed what initiatives and steps should be taken to bring peace back to the city. Qadri expressed concern over the rising violence and target killings and said that it was high time that all political parties worked together. The MQM leaders shared his opinion and added that their party leader Altaf Hussain had instructed the party workers to participate in every political event working for peace in the city.
