Civil aviation authority: Deputy director general takes charge
Air Vice Marshal Junaid Ahmed Siddiqui assumed the charge of deputy director general Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

Air Vice Marshal Junaid Ahmed Siddiqui on Friday assumed the charge of deputy director general Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). According to a press release issued on Friday, Siddiqui was commissioned in the Pakistan Air Force as GD (Pilot) in 1981 and since then, has served in various disciplines of aviation involving safety, training, operations and intelligence. He has commanded a fighter squadron and PAF base Minhas (Kamra). He is a Graduate of Air War College, National Defence University Islamabad and NDU Beijing. He has the distinction of having led the JF-17 project during design, development and production at Chengdu, China. PRESS RELEASE
