QUETTA: Weather turned cold on Saturday after a quick spell of rain in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan. However, after the shower, the provincial capital plunged into darkness with many areas also witnessing a reduced supply of gas.

A young man also died due to electrocution in Kuchlak while three other people sustained injuries when two vehicles collided in Mian Ghundi area of Balochistan.

After the rain, weather got colder in Quetta city, compelling people to bring out warm clothes. Many roads were flooded due to clogged sewerage lines. Most of the city remained in the dark due to a major power breakdown. People in some populated areas also suffered from shortage of gas.
