Sonya Hussyn calls out Shaniera Akram, Armeena Khan for ‘trivialising’ fears

Both Shaniera and Armeena had joked about Pakistanis and their fear of lizards earlier

Popular television actor Sonya Hussyn recently took to social media to call out Shaniera Akram and Armeena Khan for 'trivialising' people's fear.

The celebrity wrote on her Instagram story last night, "I believe I'm somebody who is strong and Independent. I've studied Zoology as a minor for eight years and dealt with various living species but I'm still scared of cockroaches."

The starlet added "I'm somebody who is brave enough to travel around the world all by herself yet I haven't learnt how to deal with dysmenorrhea (Premenstrual cramps), it still scares me."

The Ishq Zahe Naseeb star made it clear that the amount of independence and education does not exempt someone for being fearful of certain things and that fear only makes them human.

"Honestly it's all okay," Hussyn continued, "It's okay to have fears it's completely humane."

She then added a message tagging both Shaniera Akram and Armeena Khan, making sure they understand that the fear of Gekos is also something which should not be trivialised - since the two had joked about it earlier.

"Lets try and help each other speak up instead - about our insecurities, fears, minor and major struggles in life. We are no one trivialise. To all those who dare to be vocal about their struggles, more power to you!"

She concluded with the hashtag, #StrongerThanYesterday.
