Students urged to avail online learning
Teleschooling is a great initiative to educate the students at home, says Shafqat Mahmood
ISLAMABAD:
The Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood on Wednesday stressed upon teachers and students to utilise online learning programmes, offered by educational institutions, productively during the lockdown.
“It is necessary to work out new methods of imparting education to students by connecting them with teachers in this extraordinary situation,” the minister said while talking to a news channel.
With the help of online platforms, students can revise their lessons, practice academic exercises, find additional learning materials on difficult topics as well as obtain immediate feedback from their teachers, he said.
Teachers with reliable internet connectivity have been asked to offer their services to help pupils catch up during the lockdown period, he said.
Teleschooling is a great initiative to educate the students at home, Mahmood said.
