Top priority is to save lives: Sindh minister
Sindh Industries Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharejo criticises Centre's approach
KARACHI:
The Sindh government’s top priority is to save human lives right now, said Sindh Industries Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharejo on Wednesday.
Speaking to industrialists on Wednesday, Dharejo stated that the wheel of the economic development had slowed down due to coronavirus, but saving lives should be more important.
Criticising the Centre’s approach to the pandemic, he said it should explain its negligence and delays to the public instead of pointing fingers at the Sindh government.
Acknowledging the problems of industrialists and small traders, Dharejo stated that the government was aware of their challenges and it too wanted them to resume economic activities so that labourers did not have to suffer.
