ADCR inspects wheat facilities
Precautionary steps taken to curb the spread of the coronavirus at the wheat purchase centres inspected
MIANWALI:
On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Omar Sher Chattah, the Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue (ADCR) checked the arrangements regarding provision of gunny bags, facilities to farmers at the purchase centres.
ADCR Arjumand Zia, along with Market Committee Chairman Muhammad Afzal Khan, visited wheat purchasing centres at Swance, Marri Indus and Esa Khel and inspected the precautionary steps taken to curb the spread of the coronavirus at the wheat purchase centres.
The ADCR had directed the centre coordinator for starting the distribution of gunny bags among the farmers, from April 15, on the ‘first-come, first-served’ basis.
