Balochistan govt directs schools to reduce fees by 20%

Owners of private educational institutions were also advised to pay salaries of all the staff every month

The Balochistan Education Department directed private schools to give a 20 per cent concession on school fees and to pay salaries to the teachers and other staff regularly.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the chief executive of Balochistan Private Educational Institutes Registration and Regulatory Authority instructed private schools to receive student fees on monthly basis with a 20 percent discount.


Owners of private educational institutions were also advised to pay salaries of all the staff every month and not to terminate any employee.

A warning was issued to schools and those who do not comply with the instructions will face legal action.
