Man shot dead over property dispute
Police registered a case against the accused and started investigation
MIANWALI:
A man was gunned down while two others including a woman sustained injuries in a firing incident in Chashma police limits on Tuesday.
Police official said that 34-year-old Jabal Khan, a resident of Baandi village in Chak No 87 had a dispute with his elder brother 40-year-old Hamdan Khan over the distribution of three kanals of land.
On the day of the incident, the younger brother quarreled with his brother over the matter and in a fit rage the accused Jabal opened indiscriminate firing at Hamdan. Resultantly, Hamdan was killed on the spot while his wife Hooran Bibi and son Nadeem Khan were injured.
The accused fled from the scene. The body and injured were shifted to a hospital. Police registered a case against the accused and started investigation.
