DHA draw: Commercial, residential plots allocated
the draw gave the less affluent a chance to afford a home in the DHA.
LAHORE:
A lucky draw for plots in the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) was held at the Defence Auditorium on Thursday. Plots were allocated at subsidised cost in each phase as well as in DHA Town.
DHA administrator Brigadier Aslam Rana, the chief guest, said that the draw gave the less affluent a chance to afford a home in the DHA. He said that quotas had been reserved for widows, senior citizens and the poor.
The plots in the draw include five-, eight- and 10-marla and one- and two-kanal residential plots as well as commercial plots of four, eight and ten marlas. The plots, which have been developed, must be paid off in installments over three years.
Brig Rana said that the DHA’s vision was to transform itself from a residential society into a complete town.
