Spreading in Sindh: 14 COVID-19 cases emerge in Khairpur
40 people were tested, most of whom belonged to the Tableeghi Jamaat

As many as 14 persons have tested positive for COVID-19 in Khairpur district, where no cases had previously been reported, by Thursday morning.
According to the district authorities, 40 people were tested, most of whom belonged to the Tableeghi Jamaat. Those who tested positive are being isolated in a building at Shah Abdul Latif University, revealed district health officer Muhammad Hussain Abro.
He stated that 363 people have been quarantined in a seminary in the area, adding that among those tested, 25 were foreigners.
Abro further claimed that another 223 people would be tested after the district receives more polymerase chain reaction testing kits from the Sindh government.
