District admin to distribute financial aid to poor
Zia directs the Social Welfare deputy director to provide food hampers at the doorsteps of the affected people
MIANWALI:
Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue (ADCR) Arjumand Zia on Thursday said the district administration was making possible to distribute financial assistance among deserving people under the PM’s Ehsas Cash program and CM’s Punjab Insaf Imdad program in Mianwali district.
ADCR said the distribution of Zakat of Rs9,000 as living allowance per deserving person has been initiated online while under the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) steps are being taken to cash among deserving people. The ADCR disclosed this while addressing a meeting attended by Social Welfare Deputy Director Khizar Hayat Khan, District Zakat Officer Ikraam Ullah Khan, representative of BISP and other concerned officers.
Zia directed the Social Welfare deputy director to provide food hampers at the doorsteps of the affected people.
