Wheat: Flour grinders to go on strike

Atta Chakki (flour grinders) Association Mirpurkhas has warned the authorities that flour grinders will go on strike from 2nd Ramazan if the flour, which is being provided on subsidized rates to the flour mills under the Special Ramazan Package by the Sindh government, is not provided to flour grinders. The demand has been conveyed to the authorities in a letter written by the association. It has complained that Sindh government has provided wheat to six flour mills of Mirpurkhas District while the government has ignored the small level businesses of flour grinding. It has demanded of the authorities to consider their just demand.
