People ignore restrictions on Shab-e-Baraat
Though the rush was not similar to past years, several women and girls came along with men to the graveyards

The restrictions amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown were largely ignored on Shab-e-Barat as all small and big graveyards in the federal capital and the garrison city saw people coming to offer prayers for their deceased loved ones.
The district administration and religious scholars had urged the people to stay indoors and observe the day at homes. However, after offering Asr prayers in late afternoon, vehicles plied on the roads leading to different cemeteries and people gathered at graveyards in the garrison city.
Though the rush was not similar to past years, several women and girls came along with men to the graveyards. However, despite disregarding orders about mass gathering, most of the people were seen wearing face masks and gloves.
