Tennis: Das, Sumar march on

Robin Das continued his good form in the STA Development Series Ranking Tennis Championship beating Murtazain Shoaib 6-1, 6-4 in the men’s singles first-round match after an impressive qualifying round. Meanwhile, Saad Noor Sumar got the better of Sufyan Shiwani, defeating him 6-2, 6-4 to progress into the second round. Das and Sumar had, earlier in the day, beaten their respective opponents in their final qualifying round to advance into the main round.
