Wildlife dept rescues blind dolphins

Third dolphin was found dead.

SUKKUR:
The Sindh wildlife department rescued two Indus dolphins from the Ghotki Feeder, while another was found dead in the Rice Canal on Saturday.

The department's deputy conservation officer, Adnan Hammad, said the villagers had informed them about the presence of two dolphins in the Ghotki Feeder and another in the Rice Canal.


They were able to rescue and release two of the rare creatures back into the Indus River, one from each waterway. However, the third dolphin was found dead.
