Jennifer Aniston gives nurse diagnosed with coronavirus $10,000 gift-card

The actor thanked the health worker for her courage calling her "phenomenal"

Jennifer Aniston and Jimmy Kimmel recently presented a $10,000 gift card to a health worker diagnosed with coronavirus, reported Page Six. The donation on a segment of Jimmy Kimmel Live where the host welcomed nurse Kimball Fairbanks.

“I just have to say God bless you and all of you that are out there, doing what you’re doing,” Aniston told the nurse. " I don’t even know how to express my gratitude to everything that you guys are doing and putting your health at risk and all of that. You’re just phenomenal.”

On the show, Fairbanks dished some details about her ordeal with coronavirus.

“I kind of felt like I got hit by a train, but I think I just have really mild symptoms,” she said, describing her symptoms as “decently manageable” comparing her illness with having a cold and the flu simultaneously.


The nurse has been in isolation since then and given a temporary leave by the hospital. When she revealed that social distancing has rendered er unable to cook, Aniston and Kimmel presented her with a $10,000 gift certificate from Postmates.

“That’s good cause you know what Jimmy cooked up?” said Aniston quipped. “You’re gonna be getting a $10,000 gift certificate from Postmates.”

Kimmel followed up, “Oh behalf of all of us, I think Jen said it very well, we are very, very grateful to what you and all these health care workers are doing. It’s so far above and beyond. It really is unbelievable."
