FAISALABAD:
A father killed his one-month-old daughter and injured wife in the Jhang Bazaar area on Friday.
Police sent the body for postmortem. A case was registered against the accused.
Reportedly, Irfan Liaquat, a resident of Saifabad, quarreled with his wife and shot at her. The bullet fatally hit the baby Erum Fatima after piercing her mother’s hand.
Liaquat lied to the doctors that his daughter fell from the stairs and fled when the administration called police.
