Mahira Khan pledges to donate to PM’s coronavirus relief fund
Earlier Mehwish Hayat had also urged her fans to donate for the sake of under-equipped doctors
Renowned actor Mahira Khan recently announced that she will be donating to Prime Minister Imran Khan's COVID-19 relief fund.
On the evening of April 1, the star took to Twitter and said, "I pledge to donate to Imran Khan, PTI's COVID-19 Pandemic Relief Fund. Anything in anyone’s capacity will make a difference. May we truly see relief for all. InshaAllah."
Mahira also retweeted Imran Khan's tweet in which he made the announcement of this relief fund being set up to help those in need.
He said, "Prime Minister’s COVID-19 Pandemic Relief Fund-2020 has been set up to help us fight this pandemic. I want everyone to donate towards this fund which will be used to take care of all those who have been made destitute by the lockdown."
The Superstar actor's tweet came after popular celebrity and Tamgha-e-Imtiaz recipient Mehwish Hayat urged her followers to donate to the PM's relief fund.

In a recent video, the Punjab Nahi Jaungi actor had also requested her fans to donate for the sake of the doctors who are under-equipped amidst the corona crises.
She emphasised on the need for protective gear, beds for COVID-19 patients and all the other ways in which donations could be utilised during this time.
