Hemayal Attique, a fashion and lifestyle influencer and blogger decodes her style for us. She is the co-owner of an actively growing blog, HerandHem. Read below to find out how her style has changed over the years, her favourite trends and more.

Understanding your body is the key to looking good and a trait found amongst all impeccably dressed fashionistas. While people shy away from talking about their bodies, these brave souls explain how they work their anatomies to their advantage

How would you describe your body type?

I have the body type where I can eat a pizza everyday and still have a hard time gaining weight. In simple form I am lean and petite.

Has your body type changed over the last five years?

My body hasn’t actually changed at all. I have been like this since childhood. I do gain and lose a few pounds here and there but nothing that could count as a drastic change.

How has your style changed over the years?

My style evolves very frequently. I like to be classy and on trend. I also love to experiment with different looks. Some days you’ll find me looking like a homeless junkie and some days I’ll be dressed for the red carpet.

How do you dress your body according to your body type?

I think you should dress however you like and whatever you feel the most confident in. Being someone who fits into everything, and can wear almost anything which is nothing more than a privilege and a fashion influencer’s dream come true.

In your opinion what is the biggest mistake a person can make while dressing?

By wearing what other people think would look good on them. No one has lived as long as you have in your body, only you know what looks good on you or makes you confident. So wear what you want to, life is too short to live according to someone else.

In your opinion, what is your most troublesome area?

I am lean and petite but I have acquired the skill of styling myself according to what suits me. It’s a skill I believe that everyone should have.

Which silhouettes suit your body the most?

Again I would say I can make every outfit I wear suit my body. Now a days I’m obsessed with oversized everything and I can’t seem to get over this silhouette.

What is the one piece of clothing that you shy away from wearing and why?

The only piece I think that doesn’t look good on me is a sari. I don’t know why I don’t find it flattering on me. Though I have tried wearing it numerous times.
