K-P tally of cases jumps to 221
16 cases were reported in Peshwar alone

The provincial health department on Monday said that some 29 new cases of the Covid-19 were confirmed in the province on Monday, taking the overall toll of the province to 221.
The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Health Department in a statement on the microblogging network Twitter said that the new cases were confirmed in Bajaur, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Mardan, Peshawar, Lower Dir and Mansehra areas. Of these, 16 cases were reported in Peshwar alone, followed by three in Lower Dir and one each in the remaining five districts. Five patients who have returned from Iran via the border in Taftan, including two interned at the isolation centres set up in the Gomal Medical College and three at the PGPI in Peshawar - tested positive on Monday.
