Boxing: Khan-Mayweather fight moves closer
'I’m a clean fighter', says Amir Khan.
LAS VEGAS:
WBA and IBF light-welterweight champion Amir Khan has agreed to meet Floyd Mayweather Junior’s drug-testing demands ahead of a potential super-fight between the two in 2012. “I’m a clean fighter,” said Khan. “I get drug-tested in between, before and after fights. Whatever test he wants me to do, I’m happy to do it. When you see a fighter being very successful, I think people just want to put the fighter down and I think they were doing that by saying I was on steroids. I’ve never taken drugs in my life and never will, so that is why I am so keen on taking a test.”
