ISLAMABAD:
The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has decided to launch a mass awareness campaign on prevention measures against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

For this purpose, AIOU has displayed banners and panaflex at the entrance points of the main campus and all of its regional offices across the country.

This was decided during a high-level meeting of the varsity chaired by AIOU Vice-Chancellor Dr Ziaul Qayyum. The meeting reviewed guidelines issued by the government for educational institutions in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

It also decided to take other necessary measures to ensure that AIOU’s campuses are clean and safe in the wake of the deadly pandemic.

The banners put up across the campus will educate students and the public on how to protect themselves from the coronavirus.
