Online classes from IIUI’s Faisal Mosque centre

In line with govt directions amid the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic

The Islamic Centre of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) at Faisal Mosque has started online classes for students of Tehfeez and Qirat i--.

Islamic Centre Head Dr Ziaur Rehman said that the centre started classes to ensure the safety of children, keeping in view the global pandemic.

He said students can attend classes via video calls or other online alternatives. He added as many as 85 students in eight different classes were attending lectures on Tehfeez and Qirat.


Dr Rehman added that the centre's teachers and officials remain in contact with parents daily who in turn supervise their children to ensure their attendance in classes.

Parents have shown satisfaction over this initiative, noting that such classes can prevent the loss of academic time.
