Salman Khan shares why he hasn't moved out of his childhood home

The actor has lived in the same apartment building for decades

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's residence is no secret to anyone - the actor has lived in Bandra's Galaxy Apartments for decades now.

With a career as successful as Salman's, one would think that he would have moved out of the apartment into a big bungalow over the years, but the star refuses to shift. The reason being his emotional attachment to the building, reported News18.

"I love staying at my flat in Bandra over a big, luxurious bungalow because my parents live in the flat above mine," said the Dabangg actor. "Ever since I was a child I have taken the same left turn or right turn and I would not have it any other way."

Salman then went on to reminisce about the time he's spent in the building and the memories attached to it. "The entire building is like one big family. When we were little, all the kids of the building would play together in the garden below and sometimes even sleep there," he said.

"Back then, there weren't different houses, all the houses were treated as our own and we would go into anyone's house to eat food. I still stay in the same flat because I have countless memories attached to that house."
