Is Salman Khan stepping down as host of 'Big Boss' ?

The Bollywood superstar has previously expressed his disappointment over the channel being biased

The 13th season of the Salman Khan-hosted, super popular reality show Bigg Boss finally came to an end just on Sunday, with contestant Sidharth Shukla emerging as the undisputed winner.

While Twitter has, for the longest time, been blaming the channel that airs the show for being biased, it is now being reported that Khan himself has not too happy with the show.

The Bollywood superstar has earlier expressed his veiled disappointment during the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes about the same and now, it looks like the finale has really gotten to him.

“Salman Khan felt that the channel was a bit biased towards Sidharth Shukla throughout the season. The superstar was left angry after the channel decided to pick Sidharth as the winner. The shoot was infact delayed post this (the reason why the winner was announced post 12:00 AM),” Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying. “However, Salman has now made it clear to the channel that he won’t be a part of the show any longer.”

Ironically enough, the 13th season of Bigg Boss has been its most successful one so far. In fact, it was extended by five extra weeks just to meet audience demands. While Shukla won the show , Asim came in second, followed by Shehnaaz Gill in third.

The fourth place was taken by Rashami Desai followed by Arti Singh with Paras Chhabra coming in sixth as he walked out of the show with INR1 million.

Bigg Boss 13 started in October 2019 and ended mid-Feb. The reality show was going to be extended by another two weeks but Salman could not fit it into his tight schedule.
