PPP has announced an open war against the judiciary, says Shahbaz Sharif

We are ready to accept the challenge and offer sacrifices to uphold the law, proclaims Sharif.

LAHORE:
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has alleged that PPP has announced a war against the judiciary and the PML-N  accepts the challenge to stop the ruling party from achieving its targets, he announced during a press conference in Lahore.

“We have decided that we will not remain silent on the lack of obedience of court rulings. If the government and this corrupt group keep on defying the courts, we will muster all power to stop them,” Sharif said. “We will take action against their resolve to disrespect the judiciary. PPP has announced an open war against judiciary in the country. We accept this challenge and are ready to offer sacrifice to uphold the law. Even if we have to relinquish our government for this cause, we are ready to do that.

Shahbaz Sharif said the governments decision to not to respect the court rulings is a dangerous sign.

“For the first time in the history of Pakistan, court decisions are being thrown into the dustbin. The court's decision is being disrespected. Courts are being shown the attitude that their decisions are subject to government's assent,” he asserted. “The government is acting like it cannot be accounted for such an attitude. This is a very dangerous sign,” Sharif said.
