PM Imran to visit DG Khan today to review arrangements for coronavirus patients

Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Dera Ghazi Khan on Wednesday (today) to review arrangements for people suffering from the novel coronavirus.
The premier will be accompanied by State Health Minister Dr Zafar Mirza, SAPM on National Security Division Mooed Yusuf and Punjab spokesperson Shahbaz Gil.
During his visit, the prime minister will hold a briefing regarding the coronavirus and ensure necessary arrangements for the patients.
Late last week, the Punjab government decided to impose a public health emergency across the province.
Punjab Cabinet presided over by Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar at his office on Thursday, gave the approval to impose public health emergency.

Addressing the meeting participants, Buzdar reiterated the need to take necessary measures.
The meeting also decided to launch a public awareness campaign about coronavirus and the chief minister pointed out that the Punjab government had taken lead in taking steps to deal with coronavirus.
Punjab Food Minister Samiuallah Chaudhry said approval has been granted for wheat procurement policy 2020-21, according to which the official price has been fixed at Rs1,400.
