Awareness sessions on coronavirus in Balochistan

With religious leaders, educationists, media persons and other community groups

Balochistan AIDS Control Programme Manager Dr Afzal Zarkoon said the programme has initiated special awareness sessions with religious leaders, educationists, media persons and other community groups in order to contain novel coronavirus in the province.

He was speaking at an awareness sessions for educationists organised at Boy’s Scouts Hall.

“Activities, speeches and discussions at the sessions assist to contain spread of HIV and novel coronavirus,” said Zarkoon emphasising the need to conduct more awareness programmes across the province.


The session was attended by a large number of educationists associated with schools and colleges, including female teachers and heads of institutions.

Various doctors also addressed the attendees of the session stressing the need of emergency measures to contain the virus.
