Ehd-e-Wafa screening cannot happen due to coronavirus

Cinema houses, theatres and performing arts departments across the country have been asked to close down all activities till the first week of April in the wake of a global pandemic.
The move comes after more cases emerged in the country over the week, leading to closure of educational institutions and barring of audiences from the ongoing Pakistan Super League matches at stadiums.
Following the decision, Shaan-e-Pakistan and Fashion Pakistan Week postponed their events, and Ehd-e-Wafa is also following suit.
Media outlet airing the popular TV show was initially going to screen the ISPR serial's finale in cinemas across Pakistan but the decision has now been revoked.

Nasar Khan from Hum and the director of Ehd-e-Wafa, Saife Hassan told The Express Tribune that the show cannot be screened if cinemas are closed, it might happen in a cinema that is open.
A post circulating social media read, "Hum Network has always taken its social responsibility seriously. In line with the above, keeping in view the WHO guidelines on COVID-19 pandemic, it has been decided to cancel grand finale of Ehd-e-Wafa from cinemas," read a statement.
The outlet's yearly fashion showcase has also been canceled.
