MULTAN:
Hindu community celebrated Holi in Southern Punjab including Multan. The festival was celebrated with simplicity due to violence against Muslims in India and Kashmir.

Holi festival is celebrated all over the world by Hindus.  On the eve of Holi, children and adults threw colours on each other and expressed their happiness.

According to the Hindus, they celebrated the Holi festival with simplicity because of the Indian atrocities in India and Kashmir.

“We celebrate the Holi festival very freely in Pakistan,” said a Hindu citizen. Indians should give such freedom to Muslims to celebrate religious festivals in their country, he added. Reportedly, the Hindu community did not break their earthen pot (Matka) on the occasion of Holi as they were expressing solidarity with the Muslims of India and Kashmir.

In Bahawalpur, MPA Mahinder Pall Singh and minister for minorities and human rights participated in Holi festival.
