Police official kills three people
Two of the injured are in critical condition in the Civil Hospital
FAISALABAD:
A police official, along with his brothers, has shot dead three people over a dispute about a piece of land in Thikriwala, while three people were injured.
Two of the injured are in critical condition in the Civil Hospital. Police official Ajmal Jat and traffic warden Mohammad Shabbir of Chak 79-JB near Thikriwala had a feud over the land.
During a clash between the rival parties, Jat and his brothers opened fire and killed Shabbir, 35, and his brother, Mahmood Khurshid, 30, and Adnan, 26, from Toba. The injured were identified as Sohail Anwar, 36-year-old Sabir Hussain and Omar Khurshid, 25, who were taken to Civil Hospital by the Rescue 1122 staff.
Police officers including SP Iqbal Town Muaz Zafar, DSP Saddar Jamshed Chishti and SHO Thikriwala Waheed Shahid arrived at the spot, while CPO Sohail Chowdhury and SSP Operation Syed Ali Raza arrived at Civil Hospital.
