Cricket: Asia Cup rescheduled
The tournament was originally scheduled from March 1 to March 11.

The Asian Cricket Council has rescheduled the 2012 Asia Cup to avoid a clash with the One-Day International tri-series in Australia that also includes Sri Lanka and India. The tournament was originally scheduled from March 1 to March 11 but with the tri-series ending on March 8, the tournament’s 11th edition will now take place from March 12 to March 22. The venue, Dhaka, remains unchanged. India are the defending champions, having beaten Sri Lanka in the final of the 2010 edition in Dambulla.
