The initiatives will highlight inspiring women using photography, design, technology, business, music, and film in order to empower the community.
In the month of March, the company’s stores will conduct a series of over 5,000 Apple sessions titled “She Creates” that will host women from different industries including co-chair of the Women’s March Linda Sarsour, musicians Meghan Trainor and Victoria Monét, designer Carla Fernández, and many more.

“Celebrating the work, spirit, and contributions of women is so important to Apple,” said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail + People.
“We’re thrilled to recognise International Women’s Day through the ‘She Creates’ programming series and bring these experiences to our stores so everyone can be inspired by some of the world’s most passionate and innovative creators.”

Apart from these sessions, every day this month the App store will highlight work done by female developers, designers, and entrepreneurs.
Apple TV app will focus on showcasing movies and TV series of women who are bringing change through storytelling.
“Changing the Narrative” on Apple will feature podcasts celebrating women podcasters, shows and stories.
Moreover, Apple Books will feature outstanding women recommending their favourite books.
