11th convocation of Virtual University held

The graduating students of BS, BEd, MA and MPhil were awarded degrees, certificates and medals for 2015-19

Virtual University to open 30 more campuses across country.

MULTAN:
The Virtual University (VU) on Thursday honoured 1,048 students at the 11th convocation held for the graduates who belonged to South Punjab.

The graduating students of BS, BEd, MA and MPhil were awarded degrees, certificates and medals for 2015-19 and 2017-19 sessions respectively. As many as 164 BS and BEd, 580 MA and 304 MPhil students graduated including seven gold medalists for clinching top positions for various programmes consisted of Computer, Management Sciences, Science & Technology, Education and Arts.


The Ghazi University’s, Vice-Chancellor Dr Muhammad Tufail who was invited as a chief guest stated that students of today are leaders of tomorrow. He urged the students to transform the challenges into opportunities. He added that he had taught for ten years in Japan and Saudi Arabia and we could bring positive changes in our education system by following advanced countries strategies of education.

He hoped that the knowledge being imparted to the students by VU would help them in their practical lives. Dr Tufail congratulated the graduating students on this occasion.
