HARIPUR: A local court in Haripur district has directed the district headquarters hospital Medical Officer (MS) to exhume the body of a  woman who died after she was reportedly administered a wrong injection at a private hospital.

Following the court orders, the Haripur district headquarters hospital MS has formed a five-member medical board comprising officials of the health department which will exhume the body of the woman identified as Nagina Bibi.

The court said an FIR would be registered after the medical board report against the people responsible. The medical board has been directed to submit its report today (Monday).

Family of the deceased woman had claimed that the doctors of the relevant hospital have bribed police for not registering FIR. Family members of the deceased said that Nagina was taken to the hospital where a nurse gave her a wrong injection which caused her death.
