NAB fails to prove charges against the accused

An accountability court acquitted on Saturday former Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM) chairperson Moin Aftab and two others accused in a case pertaining to corruption, due to lack of evidence against them.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) failed to prove the charges against the accused, who also include PSM commercial director Sameen Asghar and contractor Abdul Rasheed.
According to NAB, they had caused a loss of over Rs530 million to the finance department. Aftab was nominated in nine cases by NAB, but has been acquitted in three so far.
