QUETTA:
National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri on Saturday said the PTI-led federal government is committed to ending poverty and injustice from Pakistan and is introducing public-friendly policies to materialise its vision.

“Unfortunately, the PTI government came to power at a time when the country’s economy was collapsing and every single department was on the verge of bankruptcy.

“Today, however, things are normalising and Pakistan is moving towards development and sustainability. The government had to take harsh decisions but efforts are now bearing fruit,” Suri, who hails from Balochistan said on Saturday.

The NA deputy speaker was talking to media in Usta Muhammad, a city in district Jaffarabad, where he met Sardar Haroon Khan Jamali.
